Sara Farhan
Sara Farhan is an Assistant Professor of History at the University of Northern British Columbia, Canada. She works on medicine, science and technology in Iraq with a focus on professionalization, archives and archive keeping. She has published in the Comparative Studies of South Asia, Africa, and the Middle East; Journal of Middle Eastern Women’s Studies; British Journal of Middle Eastern Studies; Social History; Journal of Contemporary Iraq and the Arab World; Alternative Routes and Left History. She is currently completing her first book on the history of medical education in late Ottoman and Hashemite Iraq.
